Advantech Launches Two New Fanless Industrial Panel PCs

Advantech's Industrial Automation Group has introduced two new fanless Industrial Panel PCs, the IPPC-6152F and IPPC-6172F. These two Panel PCs feature a 15" XGA /17" SXGA TFT LCD, 1GHz Celeron M CPU, 1GB DDR2 dual channel memory, two PCI expansion slots, a front-accessible USB design, a CompactFlash slot (or SATA HDD), and a slim CD-RW/DVD drive. This combination of features makes the IPPC-6152F and IPPC-6172F extremely versatile and reliable HMI devices. Furthermore, their fanless design, 2 PCI expansion slots and NEMA4/IP65 front panel makes these Panel PCs much more resilient than their competitors, allowing them to resist the harsh conditions of any industrial environment.
Additionally, the IPPC-6152F and IPPC-6172F provide multiple standard communication ports including Dual LANs (one is Gigabit LAN), and 5 x USB 2.0 ports allowing connectivity with a variety of peripherals. For user interface considerations, the front-access USB 2.0 port is NEMA4/IP65 compliant, and makes front-access installation and maintenance fast & easy.
Designed for use with machine vision, SCADA, OCR and packing industry applications, the IPPC-6152F and IPPC-6172F support Microsoft Windows 2000/XP/XP Embedded, and are now available .
