Commenting upon the forthcoming seminar program, Peter Crozier, HardwarePT's Technical Manager said "we, along with many others in industry today, are very aware of the confusion surrounding the various Ethernet based standards such as PROFINET, EtherNet I/P EtherCAT etc. and the seminars will therefore address these issues, further more, the seminars will also cover how best to interface to legacy networks to ensure smooth migration and thus protect investment".
The seminars will be lead by guest speaker Eric Gory, European Product Manager for Molex (incorporating Woodhead Industries, Applicon and STT). Molex's standing as a leader in industrial communications, along with their independence from the large automation vendors will ensure the seminars are able to provide an informative and unbiased content.
The seminar program will also include application examples including best practice for product selection, network design and system diagnostics. Attendees may, if they wish, participate in a venue tour at ether Trafford Park or the Williams F1 facility after the seminars.
